Why we ask: Your ZIP and household size decide which plans and prices you can get. Your phone number and email go to Nexus Benefit Solutions only, to answer this request, and are never sold.

This is a request for help, not an application for coverage. Nexus Benefit Solutions is a private, independent agency and is not affiliated with HealthCare.gov, CMS, the State of Michigan or DIFS. Please don't include medical details in this form.

Short answerAn agent or broker is a trained, state-licensed insurance professional who can help you enroll. You won’t pay anything additional for a Marketplace plan if you enroll with one.[1] Nexus doesn’t charge you for enrollment help.

Where we work

  • Office: 6749 Fulton St SE, Ada, MI 49301. Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET.
  • Service area: all of Michigan. Clients outside Kent County usually work with us by phone, text, email or video. Your county’s plans are what matter, and we price those for you: see insurers by county.
  • Phone: 616-808-9426 (call or text). TTY users: dial 711.

What an agent does, and doesn’t

  • Agents and brokers must be licensed in their state and have signed agreements to sell Marketplace plans.[1]
  • Agents often get commissions from insurers, and some may not sell plans from companies they don’t represent. Ask which insurers an agent can enroll you with.[1]
  • You can still get a premium tax credit when you enroll through an agent.[1]
  • Free, non-commission help also exists: HealthCare.gov lists local assisters and agents in its Find Local Help directory.[2]
