Frequently asked questions
Is Amaze Health insurance?
No. Amaze Health is a membership in a virtual medical practice. It is not a health plan and not ACA-qualifying coverage, and it does not pay hospital, emergency or outside-provider bills. It works alongside a health plan, and you don’t need one to join.
How much does Amaze Health cost?
About $49 a month for an individual and about $59 a month for you and your immediate family. Amaze sets the price and terms and shows them on its sign-up form before you buy (on October 15, 2026 the form listed $49.99 and $59.99 a month).
I don’t have a health plan. Can I still join?
Yes. You don’t need a health plan to join Amaze. Because Amaze doesn’t pay hospital or emergency bills, we also suggest checking Healthy Michigan Plan and Marketplace options.
I have a high-deductible plan. Why add Amaze?
Visits with Amaze are unlimited and have no copays, so everyday care doesn’t come out of your deductible. Your health plan stays in place for bigger things.
Who will I talk to?
Real people. Amaze clinicians are full-time W-2 employees, and Amaze is licensed in all 50 states. You can text, call or video chat in the app, or use the phone line if you don’t have a smartphone.
Are there copays or visit limits?
No. Visits with Amaze are unlimited, with no copays. Outside costs, such as a lab, imaging center or pharmacy price for a brand-name drug, are billed by that provider.
